For this assignment, I used Gimp 2.10.8 photo editing software as opposed to my use of Photoshop for the Graphic 1 assignment. I started with a photo of Williams-Brice Stadium during a night game. Personally, this is one of the more iconic scenes in all of college football. The background image of the stadium I found in a share drive file that us in the football program has access to. From there I decided to add a picture of me and my fiance on the sideline. I felt that this was a great addition to the scene that kept the integrity of the photo. I also decided to add a photo of myself playing that I had previously saved on my computer as a JPEG file, and added it to the center of the scene. I made great use of the paths tool to be able to crop photos and place them as a separate layer on the background image. The goal was to simulate a big play celebration. For this reason, I also added fireworks that I cropped from a JPEG google image using the paths tool again. The sparks were also used to emphasize the celebration. For the finishing touches I used the pencil tool to accent the gaps in the lights. And finally, I used to the text tool to add the infamous "Spurs Up" saying as a stamp on the scene.
